Papa comes to London!

As a continuation of Dad's trip abroad we spent the rest of his time in London.  I last left off at the end of our last day in Paris, so we slept in London that night.  The next two days I had class from 9 am to 1 pm which gave Dad to explore on his own.  I wish I could have gone with him, but I knew he would enjoy walking around my neighborhood getting familiar with what I see every day and seeing some of the exhibits in the nearby museums that he had read about.

The first day we met at the tube station that was half way between Dad's hotel and my dorm room and then headed straight to our first attraction, a Beatles walking tour.  "The Magical Mystery Tour" to be specific.  We met the tour guide outside of Dominion Theatre which was right outside of the Tottenham Court tube station.
First we stopped outside of Paul McCartney's current London offices

and then made our way to the Palladium, which is where Beatlemania is said to have started.

Unfortunately, my camera died shortly after this, but our tour continued to different pubs, recording studios, and finally Abbey Road! We walked across several times, but made plans to come back again before Dad flew back to the US.

The next day, I had class again from 9 am to 1 pm so we met up at the Victoria and Albert Museum for lunch and enjoyed a very nice day.  We also planned out his last few days in London since I was completely free and we would have all day to explore and sight see.
